FirebrandX’s custom NES palettes are coming to MiSTer thanks to Rysha’s new release, and they load straight from the menu. Rysha has provided a test build of the NES core with the new palettes, FDS support, and nearest-neighbor scaling.
The only add-on you need to have a complete MiSTer that runs all cores is the SDRAM board, since the IO board is only necessary for adding analog output (RGB/RGBS/RGBHV/VGA/Component to SCART/BNC/RCA/VGA/etc) and to house the fan.
