The popular flash, SD2SNES is getting a name change and will now be known as the FXPAK. This is in large part due to licensing issues with the term “S.D.” and creator of the SD2SNES, Igor Golubovskiy (krikzz) not wanting legal or trademark issues occurring due to the name. Here is his tweet below.
Due trademark conflict with SD-3C we were forced to rename SD2SNES PRO to FXPAK PRO. Using "SD" as a part of brand name isn't good idea if you don't want to run in troubles like that ): Begins from January SD2SNES will be renamed. pic.twitter.com/3MPyfXUpze

FirebrandX also tweeted to clarifying what is going on here.
SD-3C is a 'gang' of corporations (Panasonic, Sandisk, and Toshiba) designed to bully people out of using "SD" in their product names without paying an annual $3,000 USD fee. See the FAQ under the 'HALA' section:https://t.co/C59JMcGtDm
