Here’s an interview with Roger, aka Nemesis – The developer who reverse engineered the Pioneer LaserActive and created the first emulator for it! It was a blast hearing Roger’s whole 15-year journey into making this happen and I think any retro hardware (or Domesday) nerd like myself will love hearing it. We get a bit technical, but I think most people should be able to follow along. Please note, that as discussed in the interview, the LaserActive game rips are very big and need to be run from a fast drive, like a modern SSD. Hopefully our fellow nerds might try and find some kind of compression that can be done to reduce the file size, but at the moment, this is the best that can be done.
