Consoles4U is now selling the second batch of Cosam’s “Neptune” Genesis + 32x PCB, with all non-proprietary parts pre-populated. This version includes the region fix, so you’ll just need to transplant chips and parts from original 32x and Genesis 2 consoles (or the Mega Drive versions) to complete the build. Please note, this should be considered an expert-only kit. The price is still about $85 and this batch is ready to go:

If you have the skills to build a project like this, you could certainly have these PCB’s made and populate them yourselves…but please consider time. Not only the time to add the components, but time to research and purchase the BOM, which itself is often the most time-consuming part. For me personally, this would be the only way I’d want to make a Neptune, as the price is fair and there’s just so much time saved.
