Both Sebastian from There Oughta Be and Natalie The Nerd have recently showed off projects that put screens inside the (previously) non-functional Lego Game Boy kit. The goal of these projects is more to create a fun “art project”, however Natalie’s goal is to also make the buttons functional. To be clear, either method is a fun and awesome project that would look amazing on a shelf, but as Natalie puts it, “Don’t expect this to be an everyday carry device. It is more of a show piece then something you would play a full game of Pokemon on.“.
