Cheap HDMI to Component Video 480i Downscaler

After releasing the video about how to use cheap downscalers to watch TV on basic consumer CRT’s, someone mentioned a YPbPr downscaler they use that’s also cheap and in-stock.  I picked one up for testing and it’s actually pretty good!  Still no aspect ratio controls and it only downscales to 480i, not 240p…but it’s got low lag and looked pretty good.  More info below the Amazon affiliate links to the exact one I bought:

One thing to note, is none of these converters are perfect.  And while this one is good, it’s a bit brighter than the next-best converter I’ve tested.  So as I said in the video, I’d personally only choose this one if your entire setup is YPbPr and you just want an easy way to integrate a 480i downscaler.  Or if you want to also use it as an up and down scaler (not sure why anyone would want to do that though).  If you have extra inputs, the previous Tendak one I tested has some more options overall.
