The Making Of Street Fighter II

Strafefox has recently posted a documentary on the making of Street Fighter II.  It was great to hear the stories of the developers and how the game’s iconic moves and gameplay took shape.  I’d highly recommend this to anyone with an interest in the history of the game.

I’m always so impressed at how members of the retro gaming community can make documentaries that equal or surpass things you’d find on major video platforms like Netflix.  It’s clear to me that a real love for the subject matter will result in a better story than any big budget could compete with.  If you liked this, please check out Strafefox’s other videos in their “Making Of” series:  https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLoxs7x1Yn9F9G1Xz4pmti4b1NZLNI8SGn

There’s also another SF doc being teased by an unrelated group, however their focus seems to be on SF’s influence on pop culture and less on the technical history, as Strafefox did here.  We’ll post more info as that takes shape, but for now I think you’ll be happy with this one.
