One-letter typo ruins game AI

People just discovered the game Aliens: Colonial Marines has a typo in an ini file (‘Teather’ vs ‘Tether’) that breaks the AI in the game.  It’s a pretty interesting read covered by pretty much every tech blog on the planet, so I’ll just leave this here for you to choose your favorite: https://www.google.com/search?safe=off&rlz=1C1CHBF_enUS795US795&biw=1433&bih=800&tbm=nws&ei=5dRMW6GXD8XR5gL9vZvQCA&q=Aliens%3A+Colonial+Marines+typo&oq=Aliens%3A+Colonial+Marines+typo&gs_l=psy-ab.3…5048.5550.0.5718.5.5.0.0.0.0.75.252.5.5.0….0…1c.1.64.psy-ab..0.0.0….0.d04xuA21uVU

TATE PVM Logo

Here’s a fun one:  Someone is selling logo’s for Sony PVM and BVM monitors that are vertically-oriented.  This means anyone who’s rotated their monitor for TATE use will have a correctly-oriented logo.  OCD gamers rejoice! https://www.ebay.com/itm/123237836576   #pvm, #TATE, #bvm

GCDual Component Passthrough Dongle

Dan will soon be selling his design for a GCDual passthough adapter that allows you to use Wii Component video cables on a Game Cube with his GCDual kit installed.  Please note:  This is simply a passthrough adapter and will only work on GC’s with GCDual installed…not on any other SNES multi-out device! pic.twitter.com/NDX4sF13Qv — Dan […]
